So, I figured I'd try out this blog thing. I always wanted to document the adventures of being a stay at home mom (sahm) raising 2 boys and soon another little one. So here it is!
I can't believe how time flies, Roly just had his 4th birthday and Jacob is about 19 months. They love to play with each other, but dealing with boys is definitely a change from being raised with all girls! Trying to find the balance between letting them be boys, i.e. wrestle, climb, jump, etc and that grey line is difficult to say the least! I want them to have fun, but not get hurt.
Roly is such a great big brother and is already in love with his sister. There is something about brotherly instincts already, from the day we told him he knew it would be a girl. When they announced it at the sonogram, he said - "I told you!" He originally wanted to name her Tiger, but once it was confirmed that she would be a girl he said "I don't want her to be an animal."
Jacob has no clue that there is going to be a baby. When I tell him there's a baby in my tummy he plays with my belly button and laughs! I'm wondering if he thinks my belly button is the baby?!?!
Josh took the news well, not! At first I think he was in shock, after all, according to him all he makes are boys! He's doing well with it now. The other day he told me he started getting a pink straw in his slurpees for the girl. I see the twinkle in his eye, he's going to love it!
